Thrift store shopping is not for the faint of heart. It takes time, energy, and practice, but yes, you can find some amazing items! Not only that, but it’s budget-friendly and earth-friendly too. Recently, I hit up my local thrift store which has now become my favorite thrift store, and soon you’ll see why. Keep scrolling to check out my chic finds from this awesome thrift haul!

Thrift Store Haul

Bag:
$10
Bloomingdales
Genuine Leather

Sometimes I find the best things when I’m not looking for specific items. It helps to go in with an open mind and be on the lookout for any good thing! That’s how I felt about this bag. I wasn’t looking for a style like this, but I’m so glad I found it.

It has a 90’s feel, so it’s definitely not “modern”, but that’s what makes me love it more. Plus, the colors are classic. The bag is super soft too. All around, very happy!

Shoes:
$6
Nine West

The low heel. The two-tone. These shoes just scream chic! What’s not to love? These shoes, though they have a vintage look to them, are classic and will complement an outfit of jeans and a blazer for a sophisticated chic look.

Jacket:
$7
Black Rivet

This outfit combo gives off total French girl vibes with these jeans and ankle boots. That’s a combination that’s great for fall, whether you’re French or not!

This jacket is a great cooler weather piece and I love how warm and cozy it is on the inside and how soft and sleek it is on the outside!

Coat:
$.99 (!!!)
Karen Kane
Made in USA

This coat is easily the best find out of the bunch! And at just 99 cents!! It doesn’t get much better than that. It’s a little oversized on me, but I don’t mind. It’s luxurious and elegant. Plus the color is just so classic!

A piece like this would look fabulous and chic in the winter worn over anything from jeans to slinky dresses.

Ankle Boots:

Nine West

The beauty of thrift store shopping (well, just one of them), is that you can find “old” things that are actually on-trend.

A square toe and anything crocodile is pretty in right now and I like to think of things like these as elevated basics. If you’re feeling bored with your wardrobe, look for items that are staples with interesting details that jazz them up a bit!

Top:
$4.25
Old Navy

Not all of your thrift store finds will be designer and half off…sometimes you just find a cute and simple top! That’s how I feel about this striped top. It feels like something you would wear on a European holiday at the beach.

Skirt:
$5
Sixone

I love anything high-waisted, so I’m a fan of this skirt and its soft velvety texture! The color (and texture) definitely make it a great piece for fall and winter. The length is nice for wearing tall boots and you could as easily add leggings to this ensemble as well.

Though the color is a neutral, it’s bold, and it pairs well with stripes.

Dress/Coat:
$4.25
Ralph Lauren

Like the long cream coat, this is another great find! You can’t beat less than $5 for a Ralph Lauren piece. There are lots of vintage styles out there, but this nautical meets military meets flight attendant is one that is unique and cool.

Bag:
$4.20
Capezio

This bag grabbed my eye because it’s small, cute, and simple. I’m not trying to jump on the micro bag trend, but I do love the simplicity of something smaller! Plus, this shade of brown looks really great with black.

I like to check out my Goodwill store and Salvation Army, as well as my local places, but don’t think those are the only places you can thrift at! Flea markets, antique malls, garage sales, and estate sales are all options too to find those good deals.
