Last city recap on my trip to Europe! Did you check out Paris and Barcelona?
We went to Rome from Barcelona for a day trip. Rome wasn’t part of our Groupon Getaway deal, but Italy was a place I’ve really wanted to go and when you’re already in Europe and the plane ticket is only $50, how can you say no?
I’m so glad we ended up going to Rome because it might have been my favorite city we visited. Because we didn’t have a ton of time, we spent the day in the Piazza Navona and walked around from there.
Piazza Navona is this big plaza that has lots going on. There are cool fountains, restaurants, gelato shops, shopping places, and a big cathedral. People were playing music, painting, and there was a big photoshoot going on as well.
Being able to sit on a bench, people watch, and take in a new place was so fun. There was also quite a bit around us that we were able to walk to and see as well. From the little I saw, Rome looked so beautiful and it’d be fun to go back one day and see more!
Enjoy some photos below from my trip!
Though this 3 city trip was so adventurous and fun, I’m looking forward to a warm beach vacation/cruise where I can relax and tan 🙂 That’s hopefully my next trip, what’s yours?
I love all the vibrant colors you captured. The outdoor cafes look so amazing. I just got back from a tropical vacation and next want to visit Maine. Thanks for sharing your trip with us.
Thanks! I can’t wait to hear about your vacation. Now I’m the one that’s ready for a warm one!
