I just wanted to let you know I found you on Pinterest and recently signed up for your emails. Your style is immaculate! You don’t look like you’re trying too hard! You look so chic! Fashion inspiration!! Love your website and how tos!!
So glad you found me, Kimberly! You are so sweet and I’m glad you’re loving the blog! Happy to have you 🙂
I am over 70 and am a little confused about pants i.e. trousers (straight leg, wide leg), and jeans.. Not sure what shoe works with those. I’m shrinking, but heel are not in my future. Thanks for you help.
Hello, Marianne! Though this perhaps doesn’t make it easier, I don’t think there is any “one size fits all” to what shoes to wear with jeans because it depends on style, body type, personal preference, etc. If it helps, I’ll tell you what I usually prefer!
With my straight leg jeans, I prefer flats, loafers, etc. And some ankle boots, depending on how straight the leg opening is. I typically don’t wear knee-high/ over the knee boots with straight leg jeans.
For wide leg (and depending on how wide the leg is), I wear boots, ankle boots, and all types of flats.
Skinny jeans are best for all types of boots & shoes!
