Summer fashion usually brings lots of bold color, fruit prints, and interesting cut out tops galore, but these may not fit with your personal style. Thankfully, there are still plenty of options for those that prefer a more minimalist style. This post has all the major outfit inspo for those that love minimalist summer outfits and want to keep it simple (yet stylish) this season!

10+ Minimalistic Summer Outfits

1. linen jumpsuit + sandals + wicker bag

I’m obsessed with linen. Yes, it’s super prone to wrinkles, but that just adds to the charm! Linen is a summer staple fabric and Linen is a great breathable fabric for warm weather and a jumpsuit like this will give you plenty of mixing and matching options. That’s what minimal style dreams are made out of! You can also go for a linen dress if you prefer.

2. denim top + white culottes + espadrilles

A denim or chambray top is always a good idea for summer. Though a bright color, this top still acts as a neutral and looks extra fresh when paired with white!

3. mom shorts + bodysuit + espadrilles

It’s not even officially summer yet and I’ve worn my bodysuit more times than I can count. It’s the perfect staple piece that can be worn in different ways, yet not so bold that people start to notice that you keep wearing the same thing! This piece is a great alternative to the plain white tee, as you can get that sleek, tucked-in minimalist style with ease.

4. silk scarf as a top + linen pants + straw hat

Okay, a large hat such as this one may not scream “simple” or “minimalist wardrobe”, but this three-piece look is incredibly easy to pull off and super chic to boot. This outfit hits all the right beats, unique with the scarf as the top, easy with some slides, and still comfy with some roomy linen pants.

5. denim shorts + linen button down + sandals

This is already the second time in this post I’ve worn these shorts and they look different each time! A pair of vintage shorts such as these are a great way to give your look a beachy and summery vibe, especially when paired with a relaxed fit white button down and strappy sandals.

6. culottes + bodysuit + espadrilles

Flared jeans have been coming back and the best part is that they’re perfect for a summer casual look. These cropped and roomy bottoms are a great more modest alternative to shorts, and I find them to be more appropriate for the summer heat than skinny jeans. Plus, let’s not forget how fun and fresh white is this time of year!
